NLP
Neuro Linguistic Programming is a technology of the mind pioneered in the 1970s by psychologists John Grinder and Richard Bandler who studied the habits of highly successful people. NLP techniques teach us how to achieve success through the use of physiology, powerful language and vivid mental representations, directing our minds in focused ways to attract what we want.
It is often used in conjunction with hypnotherapy.
A key element of NLP is that we all form a unique internal mental view of the world based on the way we filter and perceive information absorbed through our senses. Our way of experiencing and interpreting our world has a dramatic impact on our behavioural response and the results we achieve. If we are not attracting the kind of happiness or success we would like in life, NLP can help us to ‘reprogram’ ourselves so that we do.
The NLP practitioner is effectively a change agent, helping the client to bring about desired changes. Wherever there is human interaction and growth potential, NLP can be used to develop and enhance performance.
